Admission to the profession of patent attorneys

The patent attorneys of our partnership are registered patent attorneys in the Federal Republic of Germany and as such members of the Patentanwaltskammer, Tal 29, 80331 Munich. German patent attorneys are subject to the professional regulations of the Patent Attorneys Act (PAO) and the Professional Regulations for Patent Attorneys (BOPA). These regulations can be found on the website of the Patent Attorney Chamber (PAK) at www.patentanwalt.de in the "Patent Attorneys" menu item.

The European Patent Attorneys are members of the Institute of Professional Representatives (epi), Bayerstraße 83, 80335 Munich, authorized by the European Patent Office, and are subject to its rules of discipline and discipline. These rules are indicated on the website of the Institute of Professional Representatives of the European Patent Office, at www.patentepi.com, in the "Rules of the epi" menu item. Procedures in front of the European Patent Office are also governed by the FICPI rules, which can be found at www.ficpi.org in the menu item "About Ficpi".

Furthermore, our patent attorneys are authorized representatives before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), which is responsible for the registration of trademarks and Community design in all countries of the European Union.


Admission to the profession attorney-at-law

The attorney is admitted to the Federal Republic of Germany and is a member of the attorneys' office, which is the supervisory authority: Rechtsanwaltskammer Köln, Riehlerstraße 30, 50668 Cologne.

The relevant professional regulations for lawyers are the Federal Prosecutor's Office, the Rules of Professional Conduct, the Ordinance on the Fees of Attorneys and the Professional Regulations of Lawyers of the European Union.
